Sorry I'm still working on the theme here.  Anyhow how big is the main_block file??  Maybe I can ask about increasing the limit here.

That should fit I don't see why not.  Anyhow as for the color it is a simple gradient.  But I am having some issues.  Not sure how your coding skills are. But this is my issue.

I keep getting template parse error so I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.

It says 128k for me.  Anyhow I can't do anything without both the menu_gfx and the main_body.  I need both.

In "admin" on the left it says "attachments and avatars".  Under "attachment settings" set everything to zero.  I knew it had to be somewhere.  Now try it again.  Both should upload.

I already have those.  What I don't know is how to edit those.  I'm no good with photo  shop.  If I could borrow the already edited ones from lab-lovers then I could try somerthing.  But I'm no good with photoshop.

i don't have the psds for lab lovers i could make them but you'd have to give me a bit of time. or i can give you the image which is in png format.
or i could give you a simplified version of the psd and tell you which layers need to be edited

ETA: here are the psds for lab lovers i just created them.

1x100.  And add #ffffff before the image like background: #ffffff url(../ to stratch it out so it repeats and doesn't stop after certain ammount of text.

It's comming along.  I just can't figure out how you got the topics list to all be one straight color.  For me the last topics on the list of topics in each froum becomes white if I add it to windowbg.  It doesn't change just the posts.  Even with the mod and content section it doesn't work.

not quite sure what you mean.
also made some changes to my forum layout take a look

ETA: also a tip, if you want your last post section the same as the rest find the following in index.css and add the url in place of the none
Code: Select all
.topic_table td.lastpost
{
   background-image: none;
}

That doesn't help.  If I say none last post remains white.  And if I say

background: url(../images/theme/blue.png) repeat-x;

It uses frame repeat blue color not my blue gradient like the other colums.  I wonder why.

It works but your index.css still says orange.png.  And I don't see any other blue.png except for the windowbg and the last ones so I don't see what you did.

Modify it one last itme.  Remove orange.png and replace it with what ever used to be there.  And instead of blue.png replace it with orange.png so I can see where you put it.  Then reuplaod the modified index.css here so I can see it.

i don't have access to your files on my site i changed that bit of code and the last post on the forum changed not sure what is up wwith yours. i checked all the lastpost code and nothing seemed out of place.

prefered the blue to be honest but it did inspire me to try out a new theme

Ok, I'll look into this.  Also do you know the code select the box the code is in here is got a white or lite grey sort of background to it.  What controls that in the css.  Like the code you told me to look at I can't read it cuz it is white and so is the background.  So what controlls the background do you know?

I think I'll just stick with 5th theme.

The problem is the css you gave me syas

images/theme/orange.png

but when I right click and view image for the background it says

Themes/theme9/css/..images/theme/orange.png

But there is no images folder in the css folder.

strange but on the plus side the css changed the quote background and fixed the issues with the chrome browser.
not sure why its calling it from css and not images.
can you please upload this one to correct some issues with the quotes. also noticed i missed a / out the url maybe thats why it was trying to call from css

No it's still black.  In your profile on the left under look and layout on the top change.  Change it to theme 9.  Notice sticky topic here is half black and mustard yellow and the bottom post is all mustard yellow so no it did not fix.
